How Online Classes Work
How my online classes work
Your class will take place over a set number of weeks. During that time, you will have 24-hour access to class materials 7 days a week.
You will work through the course at your own pace. All of the materials will be there for you and you can go through it on your own schedule.
You never have to worry about missing class! Class happens when YOU want it to! Students taking my courses have lived all over the world, from the United States to Europe to Australia and Japan.
Your class materials will include:
Video instruction. These videos include face to face explanation of pattern directions and techniques as well as hands-on closeups of specific knitting operations. The number and type of video will vary by class type.
Live Chat. We will schedule one live chat per week during the course of the class. If all students can’t make it to same chat session, it may be that I meet with 3 groups at three different times on one day, or over the course of two days, etc. You are welcome to chat with each other at any time during the course of the class. I will also be checking in on you quite often during the course, just to make sure that everyone is on track and that things are going smoothly.
Forum Discussions. Please feel free to use the forum to make suggestions, ask questions, and just to chat if you want to! Check the forum often to look for new discussion topics.
PDF Handouts. Handouts will compliment the video content. Handouts may include step-by-step instruction, pattern details, and supplemental information.
